View Larger First pass at the branching system. Created a grasshopper file w/ variable height for each branching point (derived from overlaid hex grids) and created surface infill from topmost points of canopy.


Attached is a great example of branching as a parametric load bearing system. The project dubbed the “Adaptable Wishbone System” creates a adjustable barrel vault. This is a recent Architect magazine R&D award winner to a research team of Steven Markouche, Joshua Bard, and Matthew Schulte
